Fiery Head-on Tanker Truck Crash Kills Woman, Two Children

A Loco, Oklahoma woman and her two young children were killed in a head-on collision in Stephens County on Tuesday afternoon.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that 28-year-old was driving a 2014 Volkswagen Passat northbound on Pinto Road when she crossed the center line for unknown reasons.
The driver of the Passat car crashed head-on into a 2011 Peterbilt tanker truck driven by 46-year-old Ronald Ollis from Velma, Oklahoma.
The Passat was pinned underneath the tanker truck, which was carrying a load of fuel. Both vehicles caught fire after the crash. The Passat driver had her 2-year-old son, and 5-year-old daughter were all pronounced dead at the scene.
The tanker truck driver was treated at Oklahoma University Medical Center, and has since been released from the hospital.
The crash occurred about 7 miles northeast of Healdton, about 90 miles south of Oklahoma City. Authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the crash, which troopers listed initially as driving left of center.
