The Oklahoma Highway Patrol believes that weather was a factor in a fatal collision Sunday night between a motorist and a semi-truck.
The driver, a 36 year old, from Wichita Falls, Texas, was driving east on State Highway 29 near Wrights Corner when his vehicle collided with a west-bound truck. The rain-slicked highways may have contributed to the collision.
The truck, driven by a 62-year-old of Jackson, Tennessee, was carrying an oversized load and was unable to avoid the collision.
The driver of the truck was not injured, but the 36 year old died on the scene.
